No, no my dear, if it weren’t for Renard you’d have been dead a long time ago.
Renard is the one who has been orchestrating this entire escape operation, all while running the Portland PD.
It’s very easy to ignore Renard’s importance in everything that’s happening, because lately Renard has been reduced to short scenes of him talking to someone on the phone, but he’s the mastermind and Meisner is just the hired goon. So, was Sebastien, which, I’m not even going to go there…. SQUIRREL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyway, I can’t wait for them to get stateside already, because that just means more Renard!
By the way, that was an awkward goodbye. Either the guy playing Meisner forgot how to act, or his character’s personality is pretty robotic, but that’s just me!

I’m going to take exception to the “hadn’t of” part.

Today’s work view. Light rail bridge under construction viewed from the Portland Opera building. Working Grimm today.

The first thing that jumped out at me was, “Yay, Grimm!”  and the second thing was, “Portland Opera has a building?”  I just did some set painting for Tacoma Opera—they have rented office space, rent the theater when they use it, and they have a big storage closet at a church downtown.  I may be jealous.

quick question: Captain Renard seems to be wearing a wedding ring, but no one ever mentions a wife. Does anyone know what’s up with that?

People keep asking.  They won’t tell us.

bisspateralligator:

does anyone know the songs that have been featured in Grimm?

In particular in the more recent episodes of series three, but if you know any that would be really good

I know we had Sweet Dreams and the Marilyn Manson cover, but that’s it :(

thanks

Do Grimm fans have a name?

'Cause if not I think we should be call Grimmlins.

In fact, I’m making it a thing.

It’s a thing now.

Grimmlins.

David Giuntoli came up with Grimmlins.  Bitsie says Grimmsters.

Grimm question.

whatifthetownblewaway:

I don’t think any of my followers actually watch it, which is weird.

But how do they know he’s a Grimm after looking at him?

There’s a reciprocal recognition thing that happens when he sees them woge and they see him see them (if they aren’t paying attention to him at the time then  they don’t realize he’s a Grimm).  They haven’t specifically explained the mechanics on the show, aside from Nick saying “I think they can sense it when I recognize them” at the beginning of “Quill.”  Perhaps the show runners thought this would be sufficient explanation, but since the question keeps coming up it obviously isn’t.  I hear we will be be getting a more detailed answer in-show.

I’m not sure if I like Grimm, does anyone else watch it? Can anyone tell me if it’s worth the three seasons?

It’s a bit of a slow burn till about halfway through the first season.  (I fell in love with it around episode #8.)
